Peter S. Scholz, Managing Partner
Mr. Scholz currently serves as the Managing Partner of Woodvale Realty Partners LLC, which provides advisory services that help leverage opportunities and manage risks for clients in all areas of commercial real estate. These experiences include: development management, acquisition analysis, market evaluation, leasing coordination, asset repositioning analysis and financial modeling review.
Until the end of 2014, Mr. Scholz served for nearly nine years as the Business Unit Head for the Washington, DC office of Duke Realty Corporation where he had direct responsibility for full P&L results, leasing, development, management, acquisitions, and a staff of fifty industry professionals. These responsibilities covered a 10 million square foot industrial and office portfolio and several hundred acres of land comprising properties across five states in the Northeast with an aggregate value of more than $1 billion.
During this time, Mr. Scholz served as project executive and led a project team in the successful development of the $950 million BRAC 133 office complex in Alexandria, Virginia and directed the development of several million square feet of new industrial buildings in multiple markets.
Prior to working at Duke Realty, Mr. Scholz spent 14 years as a principal of the regional development organization, The Mark Winkler Company, based in Alexandria, Virginia. While there, he led and directed the activities and staff of the company’s leasing and transactions group, served as the liaison with third party asset management clients, coordinated company development projects, and directed acquisition and disposition opportunities.
At The Mark Winkler Company, he served as a member of the executive team that coordinated and directed the company’s complete $2.3 billion multi-asset disposition in 2006; directed and managed office and industrial development projects with aggregate values of nearly $1 billion; was responsible for the negotiation of numerous office and industrial lease transactions totaling nearly 3 million square feet.
Mr. Scholz is a past chairman of the Northern Virginia chapter of NAIOP. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
